Double Cone Blender

Double Cone Blender (double cone mixer) including pharmaceutical powder blender suitable for the mixing of different type of powders. The products are tumble diffused by continuously rotating the Vessel. Blender can be made in Stainless Steel 304, 316 or Mild Steel as per requirements. Vessel having two conical frusta either side of shell of the vessel having lid on one side for charging with quick closing and opening clamps and butterfly valve (Manual) on other side for discharge. Central baffle is provided inside the vessel and on the wall of cylindrical shell. The design of the vessel is zero retention design. The machine works on motor with reduction gearbox and the vessel mounted on Plummer block and specially designed chain sprocket. Safety guard is provided with limit switch interlocked with motor which ensures safe operations.

  • Worm reduction gear use for speed reduction.
  • Food grade rubber gasket will be used on both end of cone as well as in butterfly valve.
  • General structure made out of SS 304 and Polished to the matt/mirror finish (as required by you).


Working Principle of Double Cone Blender

The Double shape blenders have long two corner of product container for more rubbing and tumbler effect to the material for fast and homogenizing mixing. It can perform homogenously dry mixing of free-flowing powders, granules requiring low shearing force, Mixing and Blending of particles with rapid intermixing of particles irrespective of varying specific gravities. The material is loaded into the double cone blender drum. The double Cone blender is tumbling the material in the container and spread out. The mixing is achieved in 5 to 15 minutes with better homogeneity.
